We now know officially that Google’s next Android version is Jelly Bean. Why? Well, Google has a history of making statues for major Android releases – the one on the left hand corner is for Ice Cream Sandwich, and the one behind was for Honeycomb. Now, we have a robot with Jelly Beans – hence, now we can call it.
Jelly Bean will be version 4.1 of the Android operating system, but now we’re eagerly awaiting what is going to be inside this version. After Windows Phone 8 and iOS 6, Android Jelly Bean has some fierce competition when it comes out in the spring (autumn in America).
We’ll know more in the early hours of tomorrow. And yes, we’ll have coverage on techgeek.com.au.
