Acer's 2011 notebook lineup unveiled at CES

Featuring Intel and AMD’s latest advancements, Acer has unveiled its new laptop lineup for the new year at CES 2011. And, since we love being nice, we have piled up the entire list of laptop announcements into one blog post for you to scan and ease your gadget craving.

ASPIRE AS8950G
The Aspire AS8950G laptop features the new Intel Core i7 “Sandy Bridge” processor with AMD’s Mobility Radeon 6850 graphics processor with 2GB of dedicated video memory. It also features 8GB of RAM, 750GB SATA hard drive, FireWire, eSata port and a 18.4-inch LED back-lit display. The notebook also has Wi-Fi connectivity, fingerprint reader and a 1.3 megapixel webcam.

The notebook will start at $1,599.99 and will be out on January 9 (in the US).

ASPIRE 5750, 5750G, 7750G
The new notebooks will also feature a Core i7 processor with “Sandy Bridge”. The Aspire 5750 will have 4GB of memory, while the 7750G will feature 8GB of RAM. Capacity will also differ, with up to 750GB on the 7750G and up to 640GB for the 5750G.

The Aspire 5750G will be the first laptop to use NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M, with DirectX 11 uspport; while the Aspire 7750G is fitted out with the AMD Mobility Radeon HD 6550 or 6650 graphics card – depending on the model. The 5750 and 5750G will feature a 15.6-inch display, while the 7750G has a 17.3-inch display and a Blu-Ray drive. All three, however, feature Dolby Advanced Audio virtual surround sound and a HDMI port.

The 5750 and 5750G will start at $899.99, while the 7750G will start at $1029.99. All are released in the US on January 9.

ASPIRE 5253
The Aspire 5253 will be using AMD’s E-350 processor with VISION technology and has been designed for those who are budget conscious. Featuring a 15.6-inch backlit display, it will have 320GB of storage, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, Radeon HD 6310 graphics card and a HDMI port.

Customers can expect this to hit stores on January 9 in the United States for $449.99.

ASPIRE ONE 522
The latest addition to its netbook line, the Aspire One 522 will feature an AMD Fusion Accelerated Processing Unit with the C-50. It will also feature a AMD Radeon HD 6250 with DirectX 11 support, HDMI support and a 10.1-inch display. Connectivity is done via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and has the option to connect to 3G, and has a built-in webcam, resolution not specified.

Release date is currently not available, nor is pricing.
