July 2nd 2020 brought us incredible news, for what you would have expected at an E3 Event in a normal year, Amazon Studios announced its intention to bring a Fallout adaptation to its streaming service. The announcement confirmed that Amazon has fully licensed Fallout from Bethesda and is committed to making a TV show.
Heres the Fallout TV Series Teaser
It’s not much currently, but heres the teaser they’ve given us. But is definitely a standard Fallout announcement. As seen in the past, Fallout announcements build a lot of hype and craze over weeks. So strap in, it’s going to be a wild ride.
The hype ride begins!
“Over the last decade, we looked at many ways to bring Fallout to the screen,” said Todd Howard, Executive Producer at Bethesda Game Studios. “But it was clear from the moment I first spoke with Jonah and Lisa a few years ago, that they and the team at Kilter were the ones to do it right. We’re enormous fans of their work and couldn’t be more excited to work with them and Amazon Studios.”
Kilter is known as the team that brought the well-regarded Westworld series to life for HBO. Kilter’s Athena Wickham will be an executive producer, working alongside Bethesda figurehead Todd Howard and James Altman.
The Reactions
Of course, there were mixed reactions. Mostly positive, followed with your usual trolls.
